Touch-A-Truck 2007!

TOUCH-A-TRUCK 2007!
Saturday, June 2nd, 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Former Morley Shirt Co. Parking Lot
Mitchell Avenue, Franklin

Kids of all ages love to see trucks up close and personal. Fire trucks, ambulances, bulldozers, garbage trucks and mail trucks, to name a few, have purposes and appeals all their own.

Trucks, emergency response and specialty vehicles assembled for touching will be from governmental and non-profit organizations as well as those used by businesses and individuals based in the county. Proud owners will display their polished vehicles. They will be happy to answer questions and even let children climb in or on their vehicles. (There will also be a “no touch”section for antique and custom cars and trucks. There will be a free goody bag for children while the supplies last. The goody bag will include information about the church and the Son Force Kids Special Agents Vacation Bible School in July. Based on our experience from last year, there will be lots of publicity for Touch-A-Truck.

The financial proceeds from admission, refreshment and bake sales will benefit our World Service mission apportionments to the Greater New Jersey Annual Conference.

Come be a part of Touch-A-Truck. The next planning meeting for Touch-A-Truck is THIS TUESDAY, May 8 at 7:30 P.M. at Stockholm United Methodist Church's Memorial Hall. For more information or if you know someone who would be willing to show their vehicle at Touch-A-Truck, please call Terry Sampson at 973-209-4929 or Pastor Casey at 973-697-6202.
